Sheryl Lee Pridy

Sheryl Lee Pridy, 61, of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, October 02, 2010 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center. Sheryl was born March 9, 1949 in Poplar Bluff. She attended ADAPT School for several years. Sheryl was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed going to all the area churches her Father ministered, and especially liked listening to and singing church hymns. She enjoyed spending time with her family and extended family that cared for her at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center.

Surviving are her sister, Jeane Lawson and husband Tom of Poplar Bluff, brother, Sanford ""Pete"" Pridy and wife Virginia of St. Louis, sister-in-law, Harolene Pridy of Poplar Bluff, nieces and nephews, Jennifer Flanakin and husband Joe, Lisa Pridy, Kyle Pridy and wife Vicky, Krista Schremp and husband David, Terry Gasaway and husband Nick, and several great nieces and nephews.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Roscoe and June Pridy, and her brother, Roger Pridy.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Triplett officiating. Burial will be at Kinder Cemetery in Bollinger County.

Memorials may be made to Special Olympics or First Baptist Church in memory of Sheryl.
