Shirley F. Deno

December 22, 1925 — March 8, 2017

Shirley F. Deno, age 91, of Wappapello, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Shirley, the daughter of the late Allen and Myrtle Kaleski Engel, was born Dec. 25, 1925 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading. Her most treasured moments were spent with her family.

In 1944, she married the love of her life, Raymond Deno. He preceded her in death in 1973.

Survivors include five children, Shelly (Rodney) Coey, Brenda (James) Hall, Cheryl (Gary) Chovan, Deborah (Henry) Poe and Raymond (Esther) Deno, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild

Two children, Karen Stewart and Rodger Deno and four sisters also preceded Shirley in death.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date with Pastor Arvin Haynes officiating.
