Shirley Louise (Harris) Hamilton

Shirley Louise Hamilton, 84 of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at her residence with her family at her side.

Shirley the daughter of the late Clarence Elmer and Frona Jewell (Snow) Harris was born April 10, 1936 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.  She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.  Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and going to flea markets.

On June 27, 1957 she married Gilford Hamilton together they shared over 62 years of marriage.

Survivors include Gilford Hamilton of the home; three daughters, Vicki Wooten, Janice Hamilton and Brenda Condray all of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother Clarence Elmer Harris, Jr., and a sister Ida Bell (Harris) Perry.

Also preceding her in death her brother, James Richard Harris and sisters, Mary Jane Harris, Ramona Harris and Helen Ruth (Harris) Cecil preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the chapel at Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services.

Graveside Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Garden Cemetery, In Poplar Bluff, Mo.
