Shirley Ann Russell

Shirley Ann Russell, 72, passed away on February 16, 2025, at her home in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Shirley was born on May 5, 1952, to the late James and Julie Mae (Johnson) Russell in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Shirley went to elementary school at Lone Hill and graduated from Ellsinore High School. She worked at Lucy Lee Hospital for most of her career. Shirley enjoyed fishing, collecting jewelry, and porcelain trinkets. She also enjoyed spending time with family, especially nephews and nieces.  Shirley was a Christian. She loved Jesus and attended Bay Springs Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by brothers, Edward (Rita) Russell of Poplar Bluff, MO, John (Judy) Russell, of Poplar Bluff, and Don (Leslie) Russell of Odessa, TX, and sisters Peggy (Jim) Daughhetee, of Poplar Bluff, Phyllis (Larry) Ford of Poplar Bluff, and Judy (Kyle) Smith of Poplar Bluff, plus many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will begin at 1pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.
