Steven Glen Dion

Steven Glen Dion, 78, of Ellsinore, MO passed away on April 15, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.

Steven was born on June 7, 1947, to Phillip and Joanne (Ballard) Dion in Beloit, Wisconsin. He married Geneva Dion on May 3rd, 2008, in Ellsinore MO.

Steven was a resident of Ellsinore for 30 years. He was employed as a machinist at Baker's in Ellington, MO for 17 years before retiring.

Steven enjoyed working on his miniature trains, which was his lifelong hobby. One of his favorite pastimes was sitting on his front porch with his favorite cat, Mittens on his lap. He enjoyed working and repairing lawn equipment in his garage after retiring.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Geneva; his children, David, Michael, Bryan, and Danielle; stepchildren, Greg, Lynn, and Brian; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one sister, Ginny Arsenty.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Joanne, and siblings, Marti Stewart, Jim Dion, Sally Burmann, and John Dion.

Memorial services to be held May 9, 2026, at Pinewoods Lake in Ellsinore, MO at 2pm
