Susan E. Anderson

Susan E. Anderson, 59, of DeSoto, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus, Mo.

Mrs. Anderson was born April 17, 1951 in Williamsville, Mo. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Anderson enjoyed painting and crafts, fishing and her Pepsi.

On Aug. 9, 1968, she married Roney L. Anderson in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2005.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Anderson and wife Tina of DeSoto, Mo. and Douglas Anderson and wife Stacey of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, Laurin Anderson and Heather Anderson; her mother, Margie Aldridge Hillis of Williamsville; three sisters, Helen Yates and husband Sonny of Paragould, Ark., Clara Clubb and husband Leo and Christine Clubb and husband Gene all of Williamsville; two brothers, Steve Hillis and Jeff Hillis and wife Lisa all of Williamsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with Pastor Kenny Condray officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Creek Cemetery in Williamsville.
