Susan Lea Gallamore

Susan Lea Gallamore, 77, of Wappapello, MO, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Gallamore was born May 16, 1938, in Gideon, MO, to the late Thomas and Ida Gray Morgan.

On October 15, 1994 she and Curtis Gallamore were married in Wappapello. He survives of the home.

She enjoyed reading crocheting, scrapbooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Along with her husband, she is survived by six children: Joan Williams (Ron), of Desoto, MO, Eddie Ketchum, of Wappapello, Sherry Ketchum, of St. Louis, Mo, Sheila Schneider (Bob), of Warrensburg, MO, Ray Gallamore (Tracey), of Collinsville, IL, and Curtis David Gallamore (Ellen) of Watertown, NY; two sisters: Alice Twitchell (Chester), of New Franklin, MO, and Margaret Brawley (Ron), of Van Buren, MO; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Gallamore was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers: Odis, Junior, JT. Vance, and Paul Morgan; and three sisters: Betty Morgan, Louise Frazier, and Irene Baxter.

Visitation will be Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello, from 12:30 – 2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with Rev. Jim Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
