Terry Beth (Lippmen) Hightower

Terry Beth Hightower, 67, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at the residence of her son in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Hightower was born Feb. 28, 1945 in Queens, NY. She was a believing Jew, and had retired as a secretary. Mrs. Hightower enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and reading.

She was married to Thomas Darwin Hightower, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Andy Hightower and wife, Mindy, Thomas Hightower and James Willis all of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren: Melinda Hightower, Lexi Hightower, Skyler Hightower and Jillian Willis; sister, Carol Gilbert and husband, Donald of Plymouth, Mass.; and brother, Walter Lippmen and wife, Mary Ann of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Her parents, William and Charlotte (Olin) Lippmen, and daughter, Melinda Hightower also preceded her in death.

A graveside service and burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Rabbi Lerry Glestein of St. Louis, Mo. officiating.
