Thelma Imogene (Inman) Knapp, 81, of Poplar Bluff went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010. She had been a resident of Westwood Hills Care Center since Feb 2002.

Mrs. Knapp was born July 3, 1928 of parents, James Andrew Inman (1885-1932) and Mattie Francis Whiffen (1889-1966). She was born in the family home built by her father and two of her brothers, Clyde Andrew Inman and Alfred Shadrick Inman. The house is still standing and known as the ""Rock House"". It is located on ""T"" Hwy near Hamtown Road.

Other siblings include: Paul Francis Inman (wife-Billie) of Doniphan; and those who preceded her in death: Ira Irvin (Bill) Inman; Virginia Loretta (Mabury); Ruth Bell Warren (husband, Wendell survives); Clyde Andrew Inman, Alfred Sharick Inman and James Herman Inman.

In Sept. 1948 she married Charles C. Knapp Jr. (1925-2007). Two children were born of this union: Charles David Knapp (wife-Brenda) and Kevin Wayne Knapp, all of Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Knapp had three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her many talents included floral arranging, crafting and oil painting.

She loved the lord and along with husband Charles, was a charter member of Temple Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff.

Memorials can be made to the building fund of Temple Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17th at Temple Baptist Church, 1813 Barron Road, Poplar Bluff with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Steve Patterson officiating. Burial to follow at Memorial Gardens.

God's Grace and Love guided her through this earthly life. Her spirit now resides with Him, The One, True, Eternal Creator of All.
