Thelma M. Whitworth Pigg

Thelma M. Whitworth Pigg, 90, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009 at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Pigg was born July 10, 1918 in Wayne County. She was a member of First Christian Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Pigg was a member of the Senior Citizen's Gospel Choir, and enjoyed all gospel music.

She was married to Frank H. Whitworth who preceded her in death in 1982. She later was married to Clyde Pigg who preceded her in 2007.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Ann Miller of Poplar Bluff; stepdaughter, Mary E. (Pigg) Collins of Poplar Bluff; grandson; and sister, Frances Skinner of Poplar Bluff.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14th at First Christian Church in Poplar Bluff with Dr. Steven Williams officiating.
