Thelma Webb

Thelma Webb, 88, of Poplar Bluff, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at her residence.

Thelma was born in Qulin, Mo, on July 13, 1027, to Dell Drew and Ruth (Jones) Drew. She was united in marriage to Sherman Webb on July 13, 1043. Thelma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a former member of Lone Prairie Baptist Church and later a member of Osborn Church. She had resided in Poplar Bluff since 1995.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters (Artie Barnes and Dorothy Drew) and 4 brothers (Billy, Dwight, Floyd and Cleo Drew.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years and three children: Johnny (Beth), Stanley (Joyce) Webb, and Janice (Sam) Gill. Thelma is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Sandy (Webb) Cunningham, John Webb, Kenny Webb, Jessica (Webb) Love, Jennifer (Webb) Thomas, Todd Gill, Tonya (Gill) Uelsmann, Brooke (Gill) Highton, Cash Gill and Chad Gill: 19 great-grandchildren: and her siblings, Marie Robertson of Imperial, Mo., Melvin Drew of Middletown, Calif., and DeWayne Drew of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Moore Funeral Servic3e in Poplar Bluff on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, with funeral services immediately following. A private interment will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers. the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Qulin Cemetery.
