Thomas ‘Tom’ Ray Huff, 62, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed Thursday, May 14, 2020, in Poplar Bluff.
Tom was born on May 25, 1957 to Orville and Margie Baker Huff, in Poplar Bluff. He married Barbara Ann Bates on October 14, 2010, in Piggott, Arkansas.
He was an active member of Highland Church of Christ. Tom was a member of Poplar Bluff Masonic Lodge #209 and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist after 38 years of service. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family and playing the guitar.
Tom is survived by his wife Barbara Huff; his mother Margie Wells, both of Poplar Bluff; a brother Randal Huff and his wife Vicki and their daughter Ginger Apollo and her children, Taylor, Mekenzie, Elana and Jonathan of St. James, Missouri; and two step-sisters, Martha Perren and her children Travis Slayton and Audrey Slayton Beres and Judy Woodham and her children, Sheila Wren and Michelle Coloney.
Thomas was preceded by his father Orville Huff and stepfather Frances Wells.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. Mr. Vernon Curry will officiate.
A private burial will take place Wednesday, May 20th at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
