Thomas "Tommy" William Hunter

Thomas "Tommy" William Hunter, 41, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital from the results of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Tommy, the son of Gordon and Janeanne (Wells) Cochran, was born June 9, 1974 in St. Louis. He was of the Pentecostal faith and was employed as an industrial roofer. Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family especially his daughters, being outdoors, backroading, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his parents; two daughters: Kalynn Jayne Hunter and Kylea Jean Hunter both of Poplar Bluff; his wife, Susan; three brothers: Mark Anthony Wells of Shepherdsville, Ky., Robert Paul Fleeman of Chestertown, Maryland and Michael Ray Hunter of Poplar Bluff; two stepbrothers: Ricky (Cindy) Cochran and Timothy Cochran both of Poplar Bluff; a stepsister, Sherry Trest of Mobile, Ala.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many other family members who will love and miss him.

The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral chapel with Pastor Lee Miller officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Hunter, Mo.
