Thomas Howard Place

Thomas Howard Place, 67, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Place was born April 9, 1942 in Evansville, Ind. He was of the Baptist faith, and had retired as a heavy equipment operator for a construction company. He enjoyed visiting with his family and friends and traveling.

A sister, Betty Thomas of Jackson survives Mr. Place.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel with the Rev. Keith Luke officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
