Tony Lee Brannon

Tony Lee Brannon, 44, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Brannon was born Oct. 9, 1964 in Dexter. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, and had worked as mate on a riverboat before becoming disabled. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include three children: Jessie Brannon, of Va., Corey Meyers of Puxico and Sierra Brannon of Grandin; his mother, Linda Arthur, of Poplar Bluff; three sisters: Kandy Calvin, of Dielstadt, Mo., and Darla Arthur and Mandy Arthur, both of Poplar Bluff; and a brother, Mike Brannon, of Grandin.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
