Tony Hawkins

Tony Hawkins, 62, of Poplar Bluff, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.

He was born on October 2, 1956 in Poplar Bluff and adopted by Clifton and Elsie (Schenewerk) Hawkins as an infant. He graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1974 and later enlisted in the United States Army and served in Germany.

He enjoyed fishing and auctions.

Tony is survived by his son, Joseph Hawkins of Portageville, MO; one grandson, Blake Hawkins four sisters, Deborah Roy of Doniphan, MO, Glenda Robinson of Lincolnton, NC, Brenda Russell of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Peggy Hawkins of Fairdealing, MO; one brother, Gene Kirby of Dexter, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.
A memorial service will be immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Service Chapel with Brother Jerry Cooper officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Gardens.
