Tyler Wayne Kelley, 28, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born on February 20, 1998, to Kurtis and Deanna (Ford) Kelley in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Tyler was a simple man who appreciated the little things in life. He was a kind and caring soul best known for his great sense of humor and passion for his trucking. Tyler brought endless smiles and laughter to his family and friends. Those closest to him learned to be on their toes at all times because no one was safe from his pranks and shenanigans. Tyler began his trucking career in 2021. He worked for several local companies before accepting a position with Kranawetter Transport in Patton, Missouri. He was very proud and passionate about his career. Tyler thoroughly enjoyed the work he did and appreciated his co-workers immensely. He enjoyed fishing, shopping, hanging out with his friends and sitting around a bonfire. Tyler also liked going to Brick's Off Road Park with his buddies and watching Kentucky Wildcats basketball. Although he was a prankster, his family and friends knew they could always depend on him. He was the rock of the family and went above and beyond to uplift and support his people. Tyler’s presence will be deeply missed.
Tyler is survived by his mother, Deanna (Jeremy) Strubinger; father, Kurtis (Amanda) Kelley; grandmother, Ruth Ford; grandfather, Cevis Smith; three brothers, Joseph Kelley, James Strubinger, and Danny Strubinger; sister, Hannah Stratton; honorary brothers and sister, Nick Loyd, Bryce Butler, Bryden Burns, and Courtney Burns; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
