Valencia Bader

Valencia Marie Bader, 59, of Gideon, Mo., died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Valencia was born April 17, 1953 in Corning, New York. She was of the Catholic faith, and was a homemaker. Valencia enjoyed spending time with her family, riding horses and 4-wheelers, crafting, cooking and fishing.

Survivors include her children, P.J. McGee of Pennsylvania, Gabriel A. Bader of Gideon, Mo., and Amberlee Marie Bader of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Susan Putman; and a brother, Richard Putman of New Mexico.

Her parents, Warren Bruce and Donna Eileen Bump Kinney, son, Marcus Bader, sister, Linda McNeil and brother, Warren Kinney preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with Father Joseph K. Mathia officiating.
