Velma Jean Callow

Velma Jean Callow, 64, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, April 23, 2010 in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Callow was born Dec. 29, 1945 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Pentecostal faith, and had retired from Smiley Container Co. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and dancing.
On Nov. 3, 1967 she was married to Finis Callow. He preceded her in death in 1969.
Survivors include three children, Keith Callow of Barco, NC, Kathleen Turner of Harviell and Charles O'Hara of Farmington; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margie Willcut and Wanda Reno both of Poplar Bluff.
Her parents, Clarence and Grace (Hendrickson) Morse, and a sister, Shirley Wood also preceded Mrs. Callow in death.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel with Pastor Larry Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Old Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler County.
