Verna Mae Sisk

Verna Mae Sisk, 72, of Poplar Bluff died Friday, May 21, 2010 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Sisk was born June 1, 1937 in Poplar Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a homemaker. Ms. Sisk enjoyed spending time with her family; fishing, playing Yatzee and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Lee Hartwick of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a sister, Neva Jo Drake of Houston, Tex.; and a brother, Larry Sisk of Northeast, Md.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel with the Rev. Joe Carpenter officiating. Burial will be at Black Creek Cemetery.
