Vicki Lynn Maddux

Vicki Lynn Maddux, 65, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at her residence.

Ms. Maddux, the daughter of the late Norman F. and Alma Elise Goff Maddux, was born Jan. 3, 1951 in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and was a Registered Nurse. For the past 17 years, Ms. Maddus was employed at Shady Grove State School. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, being around and working with children and cooking.

Surviving Ms. Maddux are her son, Matthew Sparkman of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Debra (Glen) Padgett; a niece, Krista (John) Cornelius; three nephews: Christian (Casey) Salyer, Jason (Suzy) Padgett and Josh Yarbrough; and six nieces and nephews: Kal El Cornelius, Maddux Salyer, Aaron Salyer, Nikki Padgett, Avery Padgett and Elijah Padgett all of Poplar Bluff.

A sister, Jacquelyn Yarbrough also preceded her in death.

A graveside service and burial will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Ward officiating.
