Virginia Lee Harley was born to the late Mary Robinson and (survived by) Lucious Roberson, Sr. of Chicago, IL on February 28, 1951 in Beulah, Miss. She was a dedicated wife to her late husband Billy Harley. She passed away December 24, 2012 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Surviving are five children, Billy Robinson (Clarissa) of Birmingham, AL, Tommy Harley, Kevin Harley of Sioux City, IA, Jimmy Harley, Todd Harley of Poplar Bluff. Nine sisters and six brothers, Lucious Roberson, Jr. (Olee), Roosevelt Robinson (Margaret), Robert Robinson (Doris) of Saginaw, MI, Shelia Robinson, Curtis Robinson, Hattie (Willie) Wilson of Killeen, TX, Martha Mitchell of Irving, TX, and Evelyn Scott of Hurst, TX, Janie (Jerome) Brackett of Shreveport, LA, Janice (Jim) Kujawa of Apple Valley, MN, and Charlie Riley of Minneapolis, MN, Janice Roberson, Kenneth Roberson, Anthony Roberson of Chicago IL. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and three dear friends, Juanita Smith, Noni Currie and Jetta Williams. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind soul with a gentle heart who was greatly loved.
One sister, Irene Robinson of Chicago, IL, predeceased Virginia.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with Bishop James Price officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
