Virginia Anne "Ginger" Hopper

Virginia Anne “Ginger” Hopper, 79, of Poplar Bluff passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020.

She was born on December 29, 1940 in New York City the daughter of Eric and Mildred (Leyers) Rauer. On September 26, 1970 she married Allan Douglas Hopper in Ridgewood, NJ, and he survives.

Ginger was a member at the First Presbyterian Church of Poplar Bluff as well as Beta Sigma Phi.

She enjoyed playing bridge and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents Ginger was preceded in death by a brother Ron Rauer and an aunt Grace Leyers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at Moore Funeral Service, 1100 Iron Bridge Road, Poplar Bluff.

A service celebrating Ginger’s life will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Deb Tracy officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Ginger to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society .
