Walter Dean Davis

Walter Dean Davis, 55, of Doniphan, MO, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 27, 1971, to Dean Davis and Carlene Young in Doniphan, Missouri.

Walter was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing, going to Walmart aka "Kmart", watching Night Rider and anything starring Chuck Norris. Walter loved all things Christmas and would have been happy to celebrate it year around! He loved animals, especially dogs. He worked at the Current River Workshop for over two decades and gained many friends during his time there. Walter enjoyed spending time with his partner in crime, Becky. They liked going bowling, playing pool, dancing, and just enjoying each other’s company. Walter had a bright and caring soul that brought joy to everyone around him. His smile and presence will be missed.

Walter is survived by many extended family members and dear friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Dean Davis and Carlene Young; stepmom, Debbie Davis.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 1:00-2:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 2:00pm with Chaplain Callum Reavey officiating. Burial will take place at Shiloh Cemetery near Grandin, Missouri.
