Wendi R. Gore

Wendi Renee Gore, 36, of Wappapello died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Gore was born Nov. 2, 1972 in Pocahontas, Ark. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Puxico, and was employed with New Hope In-Home Health Service. Mrs. Gore was also a sales representative for Mary Kay, and previously had served as a volunteer for the Wappapello Fire Dept. She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.

On Feb. 25, 1999 she married Claude H. ""Chip"" Gore III in Greenville. He survives.

Other survivors include 4 children: Logan Gore, Mark Gore, Dawn Gore and Kathleen Gore; her parents, Lindy and Jan (Williams) Burchett of Stillwell, Okla.; a sister, Kati Ward and husband Brady; 2 brothers: Joe Burchett and wife Jennifer and Les Burchett and wife Angela, all of Atlanta, Ga.; father and mother-in-law, Claude H. and Anita Gore, Jr. of Wappapello; and sister-in-law, Pam Heaton and husband Tony also of Wappapello.

A son, Zachary Gore preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at the Wappapello Chapel with Mr. Keith Sandlin officiating. Burial will be at Wappapello Cemetery.
