Willa Dean Martin

Willa Dean Martin, 76, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 at St. Louis University Hospital.

Mrs. Martin was born Nov. 30, 1932 in Choctaw Ark. She worked as a receptionist for her son, Dr. Zackwrie Parr. Mrs. Martin enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, and traveling.

Survivors include her son, Zackwrie Parr and wife Regina, of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren, Zackwrie Parr Jr., Collin Parr, Ashley Doerr and Brittany Doerr; and sister, Azalee Goddard, of Calif.

Her parents, Charlie and Nancy Anderson, two husbands, brother, Alvie Shannon and sisters, Ava Lou Anderson and Betty Jo Davis preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, in Kennett, Mo.
