William Glen Brunelle

William G. Brunelle, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Brunelle, the son of the late Bernard Joseph and Rose Charlotte (Steele) Brunelle, was born Aug. 17, 1933 in Green Bay, Wisc. He had retired from the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served his country during WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Brunelle enjoyed spending time with his family, collecting and shooting guns and going to the sale barn.

On Aug. 1, 1953, he was married to Dorothy Holmes in Liverpool, England. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include five children: Gene Paul Brunelle of Fairfield, Calif., Marjorie Lynn Brunelle of Santa Rosa, Calif., Gregory Alan Brunelle of Fisk, Mo., Jonathan David Brunelle of Poplar Bluff, Mo and Daniel Glen Brunelle of Wappapello, Mo.; and seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

A son, Glenn George Brunelle, a brother, Don Brunelle and a sister, Alice Bortolini also preceded him in death.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
