William Augusta Forrest

William Augusta Forrest, 79, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Forrest was born Sept. 1, 1927, in Broseley. He was of the Baptist faith and had retired as a toolmaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Velda June McFarlane, of Chicago, Ill., Monica Forrest, of Winsboro, Tex. and Kimberly Houston, of Port Hueneme, Calif.; two sons, David Forrest, of Swartz Creek, Mich. and Gary Christopher Forrest, of Flint, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Bullock, of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 1 - 3 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Chapel, with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
