William Ray Fuwell, 75, of Qulin formerly of White Salmon, Wash. died Saturday July 11, 2009 at the home of his niece in Bonne Terre.
Mr. Fuwell was born Oct. 23, 1933 in Tallapoosa. He was a retired truck driver, and was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps having served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors and traveling.
On April 28, 1962 he married Anna Hearn. She preceded him in death on April 15, 2004.
Survivors include two children: Virgie Fuwell and Charles Fuwell, both of White Salmon, Wash.; several grandchildren; two sisters: Leveta McGinley of Qulin and Jenny Ray of Poplar Bluff; three brothers: Roy Fuwell and Ray Fuwell both of Qulin and Larry Fuwell of Fisk; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at Husum Church of God in Husum, Wash. Burial will be in the White Salmon Cemetery in White Salmon, Wash.
Cotrell Funeral Service of Poplar Bluff is in charge of arrangements.
