William P. Lacy

William Perry ""Bill"" Lacy, 78, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Lacy was born May 22, 1932 in Weiner, Ark. He was of the Protestant faith, and had retired as an electrician's helper. Mr. Lacy was also a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being involved with Serenity Group, and helping others in their time of need.

Survivors include three children, Rema Lynn Cole of Kans., Perry Edgar Lacy and Karen Sue Lacy of Poplar Bluff; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ella Moss of St. Louis, Mo.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Mayes officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
