Willomae O. Drury

Willomae O. Drury, 96, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at The Cedargate in Poplar Bluff.

Ms. Drury was born Dec. 4, 1914 in Owensboro, Ky., and graduated from Arcadia Girls School. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and had retired from AT&T in Kansas City, Mo. Ms. Drury enjoyed attending sporting events, traveling and crocheting.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Gwen Drury of Poplar Bluff; four nieces, Paula Rhodes, Debbie Sisk, Linda Ferguson, and Miriam McNaley and five nephews, John Drury, Bill Drury, John McNaley, Paul McNaley and Bill McNaley.

Her parents, Paul V. and Mamie Powell Drury, Sr., sister, Mildred McNaley and brothers, Paul V. Drury, Jr. and William C. ""Bill"" Drury, Sr. preceded Ms. Drury in death.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father David Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
