Nancy Marie Hayes, 74, of Piedmont, Missouri, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at Riverways Manor, in Van Buren, Missouri.
Ms. Hayes was born Aug. 16, 1948, to William Frank Hatch II and Mary Rose Higgins Hatch, in Vallejo, California. She was of the Protestant faith and had retired from Poplar Bluff R-1 School System as a Security Guard. She enjoyed flowers, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include three sons, Garey Dale (Tammy) Hayes, Jr. of Van Buren, Thomas William Hayes of Poplar Bluff, and Jeffrey Andrew (Garyn) Hayes of Piedmont; a daughter, Pamela D. Hayes (Scott) Gouger of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren, Michael Spencer, Taylor Nugent, Michael Brandon Hayes, William Hayes, Christina Hayes, Zachary Christopher (Kristin) Overfield, and Lexie (Josh Lawson) Overfield; and three great-grandchildren Ava Grace McPhail, Lincoln Christopher Overfield and Brooklyn Rae Overfield.
Her parents William and Mary Hatch, ex-husband and father of her children, Garey Dale Hayes Sr. and partner Eddie Halford preceded her in death,
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10 am Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff with a Celebration of Life following at 11 am.
