Pansie "Earline" (Hale) Ward

Pansie Earline Ward, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, April 04, 2023.

Earline was born on August 11, 1947, to Earnie and Pansie (Hendrickson) Hale in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married John Edward Ward on September 24, 1965, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Earline was a member of Bethel Chapel. She loved to crochet, catch up with friends on Facebook, and spend time with her grandchildren. She worked at Walmart for 40 years and was a member of the original Poplar Bluff store. Earline enjoyed tending to the cattle, working on the farm, traveling, and visiting flea markets in search of her next antique. She was a simple, hard-working woman who loved her family fiercely.

Earline is survived by two children, Shelia (Mike) Coleman and John David (Ponda) Ward; one brother, Leroy (Joyce) Hale; three grandchildren, Bryce Ward, Bradley Coleman, and Kirby Coleman; Leah Snow, who Earline considered to be a granddaughter; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Earline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Edward Ward; four brothers, Linous, Bill, Jack, and Donald Hale.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 6:00-8:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 3:00pm with Reverend Brian Sharp & Reverend Carlos Boyer officiating. Earline will be laid to rest next to her husband at Sparkman Cemetery.
