Tony Douglas Speer

Tony Douglas Speer, 58, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away April  4, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Tony was born Jan. 7, 1966, to Glen and Ruby (Medley) Speer in San Diego, California.  

Tony was a Christian that loved his church and family.  He was a member of Second Baptist Church.  He was always willing to help anywhere needed. Tony was an avid hunter, enjoyed spending time in the woods, and pitching horseshoes with the club.  He enjoyed his work as a left-handed carpenter.  He will be dearly missed by all.  

Tony is survived by his parents, Glen and Ruby; one son, Aaron Woods; one daughter, Beth Speer; one grandson, William Russell; one brother, Steve (Gwen) Speer; one sister, Janet Lynn Speer (Jason Richmond); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his wife, Micki Speer.

Visitation will be held from 1 -2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9  at Second Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Curtis Crowley officiating. Burial will take place at Dudley Cemetery.
